Michael Vick not only fought dogs but his compound was used for the dog fights.
Dog fighting is fundamentally a gambling activity, just as cock fighting and boxing.
If Vick had bet on an NFL game he would be banned for life.
Vick actually ran a gambling organization on his property but as soon as he got out of prison he was back on the field.
