"Bail Out" Cannot Be Reviewed

This can't be good. The executive branch is using the current economic crisis to increase its power in frightening ways.

Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency.

His name is Henry Paulson.

Combined with the behavior of the police during the conventions, this is looking more and more like the downfall of our "free" market demoncray to a dictatorship police state. We'll see if Congress rolls over and takes it.

Nothing good will come of this so-called bailout - more like a reverse robinhood. "Steal from the poor and give to the rich." (remember Monty Python's song?)

Dennis Kucinich is going to introduce a bill giving every American stock in this bail-out equal to about $2300. That will mean if this works we'll all share in the profit.

Now if I could just get a bail-out from my "toxic debt."
